The building is a white box, standing among the fields, contrasting strongly with the surrounding Jiangnan dwellings and standing out as a maverick. When we first met the owner, he was simple and wise, and he had studied architecture, gardens and antiques in depth and had a lot of knowledge. As a designer who has been deeply involved in Suzhou, he could not avoid "garden" and hoped to apply the construction design techniques of Suzhou gardens to the interior layout, and once the design proposal came out, it coincided with what the owner wanted.
